Arriving into Langkawi on the third stop of a Malaysian adventure, I knew I had saved the best. Langkawi was a luscious green tropical paradise, and reminded me of being back in Thailand all them many years ago (with the proximately of the Island to Thailand its not surprising) a smile could not leave my face and my only regret was not having booked more nights!
Our Four Month old son was taking it all in his stride, his priority at that age was a swimming pool! And the Four Seasons delivered that to him in a big scale! Water Falls and shaded planted areas provided him a senses overload!
As always one of my favourite reasons to go to South East Asia is that you know you will always be looked after, the staff are truly exceptional and everything is done with an infectious smile on their face without even a second ask!
We checked into our beach front ‘room’ and admired the view, perfect white sand beaches, limestone rock formations and crystal waters and a weight was lifted from our shoulders for the remainder of our stay.
The hotel set in the UNESCO jungle playground offered Perfect fusion cuisine, taking in all neighbouring countries influences and the islands fresh ingredients.
It was a perfect combination of doing nothing and admiring your setting and enjoy what they had to offer – water sports for all tastes, spa and yoga and then jungle explorations!
All I can say Is I cannot wait to bring the little one back when he is a little older!
